We are a growing Home Care Company and looking to add some new employees to our family!

 

What do we do?

We assist people in their homes with cleaning, pet care, small meal prep and most importantly companionship. Clients might request a drop-in from one of our employees a couple times a week to check-in on an aging family member, have tea, do some dishes and make sure there loved one is okay. We have clients that contact us for pet care during the day as they might have long work hours or be away for a business trip. We assist elderly clients to family events/weddings and make sure they are attended to at the event and safely make it home. Catering to clients requests is what we do. Young and old, we help people meet their daily tasks and assist them in their day. In terms of companionship for the elderly -we are NOT PSW workers, we are friends. All our clients/homes are pre-screened by our manager to insure safety and suitability for our staff.

Would you be a good fit?

We are looking for people that are interested in part time work.

Must be able to have flexibility in schedule (days, evenings and weekends)

Must love people, trustworthy, caring and have great communication.

We encourage people from all ages, genders and backgrounds to apply.

Duties can include but are not limited too:

1) Cleaning - deep cleans and maintenance cleans

2) Assisting with daily tasks/running errands

3) Pet care – taking animal to vet on behalf of client, cleaning up after animals etc.

4) Companionship – conversations, walks, bonding with the client

5) Confidentiality and trust are a MUST

 

Requirements include:

1) Mandatory -Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector

(This expense will be reimbursed after the 3 month trial period.)

2) Experience with elderly, caregiving, pets and cleaning essential

3) Food Handlers Certificate / Smart Serve (highly recommended)

4) First Aid /CPR (highly encouraged)

5) References
